Talamone. After passing the wild Albegna river mouth and valley, another two hours’ walk north leads near a bay with the backdrop of a mythological and rich in history village located on a rocky promontory.
The village is therefore in a strategic position to appreciate from above a stretch of coast very popular by water sports enthusiasts, discover the traditions of the area and go on trekking’s excursions.
This is the 4th stay of a walking – journey – project to discover the Mediterranean coast along the itinerary of the Strada Statale 1 Via Aurelia which goes up the Italian peninsula to reach its French destination in Arles.
Walking for a long time is the primordial journey of the human being who seeks. We pause or continue by adapting to the needs or opportunities of the moment along a path that will always return something new.
